Kathmandu: A Shree Airlines flight bound for Surkhet from Tribhuvan International Airport had to make an emergency landing due to a technical issue.
Flight 121 of Shree Airlines, which took off from Kathmandu to Surkhet, was forced to declare an emergency and was diverted back to Kathmandu. After landing, the aircraft remained on the runway for a brief period. The problem was indicated by an issue with the nose landing gear, as shown by the aircraft’s indicator system. The technical problem was identified by the flight crew, and they made an emergency landing at Tribhuvan Airport at around 8 AM.
The aircraft stayed on the runway for some time after landing. The Tribhuvan International Airport office confirmed that the issue was related to the nose wheel lock of the aircraft.
