Kathmandu: Today marks the final day for shareholders of Everest Bank Limited to secure a 15.53% dividend. The bank will close its book for dividend distribution and its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) tomorrow, Ashoj 8 (September 24, 2024).

Shareholders whose transactions are settled by the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) by today will be eligible to participate in the AGM and receive the dividend declared by the bank.

Everest Bank has scheduled its 30th AGM for Ashoj 20 (October 6, 2024) at the Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 AM. The meeting will propose distributing a 10% bonus share from the current paid-up capital, along with a 5.53% cash dividend for tax purposes.

Additionally, the AGM will pass special resolutions, including amendments to the bank’s Articles of Association and Bylaws following the issuance of bonus shares, the election of two board members representing public shareholders, and the appointment of an auditor.
