Kathmandu: Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBB) has announced a significant partnership with Neo Remit and United Remit to provide remittance payment services, bringing good news for RBBL customers and others receiving foreign remittances. Remittances sent from relatives residing in any country around the world through Neo Remit and United Remit can now be collected at RBBL’s 294 branch offices across 77 districts of Nepal. Even customers in remote areas will benefit from this service. Additionally, amounts transferred directly to a recipient’s bank account via remittance services will be deposited into the respective accounts.
The agreement was signed between Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited, Neo Money Transfer Pvt. Ltd. (Neo Remit), and United Remit Pvt. Ltd. On behalf of RBBL, Department Head Rishiram Dhakal signed the agreement, while CEO Sagar Khanal signed for Neo Money Transfer, and Sudan Singh Silwal represented United Remit.
Currently, RBBL operates 294 branch offices, 312 ATMs, 99 branchless banking services, 73 extension counters, and various digital banking services, including mobile banking (Digital World), internet banking, and non-internet-based mobile banking services, across all 77 districts of Nepal. These services aim to facilitate easier access to financial services, including cash withdrawals without checks and direct account deposits for remittance receivers.
