Kathmandu: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, leading the Nepalese delegation at the third session of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) in Doha, Qatar, has been actively engaged in various bilateral meetings.
On the sidelines of the conference, Dr. Rana held bilateral talks on Thursday with several deputy prime ministers, foreign ministers, and ministers from different countries. The conference saw the participation of presidents, prime ministers, deputy prime ministers, foreign ministers, and ministers from ACD member Asian nations.
Following her address to the conference, Dr. Rana met with Kyrgyz Republic’s Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov, Myanmar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister U Than Swe, and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. Additionally, Dr. Rana had a courtesy meeting with Dr. Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates.
These meetings included discussions on various topics of mutual interest and concern, as well as on expanding relations and cooperation in the future.
Foreign Minister Dr. Rana, who attended the meeting of Women Foreign Ministers in Toronto, Canada, the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA, and the third ACD conference in Doha, is set to return to Nepal today after concluding her engagements in Doha.
