Kathmandu, May 26 – Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala has issued a directive to complete the construction of the Nagadhunga-Naubise tunnel within a year. The Minister’s team conducted a site visit to monitor the progress of the Nagadhunga-Muglin road project, with the main tunnel excavation reaching an impressive 82 percent. In light of this, Minister Jwala urged the tunnel project officials to expedite the construction process.

Tunnel construction has gained significant importance in the country’s infrastructure and road development initiatives. To ensure a timely completion of the project, Minister Jwala assured that all issues would be promptly resolved either through ministry discussions or by visiting the project site. He also urged the builders to overcome any difficulties and fulfill their responsibilities without making excuses. It is crucial to adhere to the agreed-upon timeline for completion.

The construction of the Nagadhunga-Naubise tunnel is a significant infrastructure milestone that will greatly benefit the region. Minister Jwala’s directive underscores the government’s determination to complete the project efficiently, enhancing transportation and connectivity in the area.
