Kathmandu: The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has unveiled an action-packed annual calendar, ensuring a busy year ahead for players at all levels. In a press conference held at the TU ground in Kirtipur on Thursday, CAN announced the schedule for national and international matches, setting the stage for an exciting cricketing season.
Both men’s and women’s teams, alongsid teams and age-group players, are set to participate in a range of competitions. Notable fixtures include clashes against Canada in the World Cup Cricket League and the ACC Men’s Premier Cup, featuring challenging encounters with UAE and Oman.
Highlighting the international flavor, Nepal’s A team is slated to face off against Ireland’s A team in a competitive series. Additionally, thrilling matches against America and Scotland add further excitement to the cricketing calendar. CAN Secretary Pasar Khadka, Vice President Roshan Singh, Treasurer Padam Khadka, and Cricket Manager Vinod Das were all present at the program, emphasizing the association’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and competitive cricketing landscape in Nepal.
