Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) commenced its ward practice activities on Paush 21, 2080, involving 56 wards across various provinces. The initiation was marked by heightened tension during the proceedings of the first ward.
Diverse provincial representation was evident in this political undertaking, with 18 wards allocated to the Koshi province, 10 wards to Bagmati province, 16 wards to Gandaki province, 7 wards to Lumbini province, and 5 wards to Sudurpaschim province. The widespread coverage underscores the party’s commitment to engaging with communities at various levels.
Key party figures actively participated in these ward activities, demonstrating a strong organizational presence. Party Vice-Chairman DP Aryal attended the convention in Chitwan Wards, while Joint General Minister Kavindra Burlakoti was present in Budhanilkanth Ward. Central Member MP Ganesh Parajuli, along with other officials, actively monitored proceedings in different wards.
To ensure transparency and adherence to established procedures, members of the provincial committee were designated by the Election Commission for supervision duties. The Election Commission’s involvement emphasizes the significance of fair and impartial conduct during the ward practice activities.
