Kathmandu: Under the chairmanship of party chairman and former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Nepali Congress Central Executive Committee convened at the party’s central office, B.P. Smriti Bhawan, B.P. Nagar, Lalitpur. The meeting resulted in key decisions for the upcoming National Assembly Member Election.
The decisions made are as follows:
Nomination Approval: The committee approved the decision to nominate candidates for the National Assembly Member Election in accordance with Section 18 of the National Assembly Member Election Act, 2075, and Article 32(9) of the Nepali Congress Constitution, 2017.
