Foreign Ministers of Nepal and India Hold Bilateral Meeting in New Delhi

Kathmandu: Nepal’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, held a bilateral meeting with her Indian counterpart, Dr. S. Jaishankar, in New Delhi today. The meeting focused on strengthening the longstanding ties between the two neighboring countries and exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation in various sectors.

During the discussions, both ministers reiterated their commitment to fostering closer collaboration on matters of mutual interest, including trade, investment, and regional security. They also exchanged views on the current geopolitical landscape and agreed on the need for continued dialogue to address emerging challenges in the region.

Following the meeting, Dr. Jaishankar hosted a luncheon in honor of Dr. Deuba, where they further discussed ways to bolster the partnership between Nepal and India.

The visit underscores the deep-rooted relationship between the two nations and their shared vision for a prosperous and stable South Asia.
