Kathmandu: Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBB) has introduced a new private vehicle loan scheme under its upcoming Nepali festival offer, featuring a stable interest rate of 7.775%. This scheme, titled “RBB Bhavya Yatra Karja Yojana,” is designed specifically for private vehicles (red plate).
Under this plan, the bank will provide loans up to NPR 10 million, with repayments to be made in monthly installments. A service charge of 0.50% will be applicable on the loan amount. For electric vehicles (EVs), the bank will finance up to 80% of the value listed in the vehicle’s quotation, and up to 50% for petrol/diesel vehicles. The loan tenure can extend up to a maximum of 7 years. This offer is valid from Bhadra 1, 2081, until the end of Kartik.
Importantly, the interest rate will remain unchanged throughout the loan period for customers who avail of this scheme. The bank guarantees a decision on loan applications within 7 working days, and all other prevailing vehicle loan regulations will apply to this scheme.
This loan facility is available at all branch offices of Rastriya Banijya Bank, which has 294 branches, 310 ATMs, and 73 extension counters across all seven provinces and 77 districts of Nepal.
