Kathmandu: NIC Asia Bank has been awarded the ‘Best in Digital Banking Award’ under the ‘2nd ICC Emerging Asia Banking Awards.’

This prestigious recognition, received during the ongoing transition of the bank’s services to digital platforms as part of its long-term strategy to become a ‘Digital First Bank,’ has further motivated the bank to enhance its digital banking services.

The award was presented to NIC Asia Bank on August 23, 2024, during the ‘Banking Conclave 2024’ held in New Delhi, India, under the ‘2nd ICC Emerging Asia Banking Awards’ organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Banks from BIMSTEC countries, including Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Myanmar, competed in various categories, with NIC Asia Bank emerging as the winner in the digital banking category.

To select the best banks, the Economic Affairs and Policy Department of the Indian Chamber of Commerce had established 17 different indicators for evaluation.
