CG Motors Unveils Four New Vehicle Brands at NADA Auto Show 2024

Kathmandu: CG Motors, a leading name in Nepal’s automotive industry, has unveiled four new vehicle brands at the NADA Auto Show 2024. This significant event, aimed at revolutionizing the Nepalese automotive market, was inaugurated by Nepal’s Finance Minister, Bishnu Paudel.

In response to the growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) in Nepal, CG Motors introduced four distinct brands—AVATR, XPENG, RIDDARA, and HERO—at the auto show. These brands showcase the company’s commitment to innovation and addressing the evolving needs of customers.

Key Highlights:

AVATR 11: Debuted at stall number H13, the AVATR 11 is a luxury SUV produced through a collaboration between Changan, Huawei, and CATL. With a range of 680 kilometers on a single charge, the vehicle is available in two variants, featuring 90kWh and 116kWh batteries.

XPENG G6: Featured at stall number G12, the XPENG G6 is positioned in the premium segment. It offers a range of 435 kilometers per charge and supports fast charging, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes.

RIDDARA RD6: Located at stall number A9, the RIDDARA RD6 is equipped with a 63kWh battery and a 200kW motor, providing a range of 377 kilometers.

NETA X: This new model, available at stall number A3, offers a range of 500 kilometers and comes with an 8-year or 180,000-kilometer warranty on its battery and motor.

Additionally, CG Motors showcased other models and brands at the event, including NETA, AION, and King Long, across eight different stalls.

Prominent Launches at NADA 2024:

CG KYC: Known for being the top-selling electric van in Nepal, CG KYC introduced a new 7-seater electric van at stall number J2. The van boasts a range of 300 kilometers and includes safety features like dual airbags and ABS.

King Long: CG Motors also introduced luxury 15-seater, 16-seater, and 19-seater models at stall number J1, aimed at providing comfortable and safe long-distance travel solutions.

The NADA Auto Show 2024 will run from August 27 to September 1, 2024, at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Visitors are encouraged to explore the new offerings by CG Motors at the event, which promises to set new benchmarks in the Nepalese automotive sector.
