New Appointments and Transfers of CDOs

Kathmandu: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Ministry of Home Affairs has announced new appointments and transfers for Chief District Officers (CDOs).

Jaya Narayan Acharya has been appointed as the Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, a key role in the capital city. Meanwhile, Rama Acharya Subedi has been named the new CDO of Pyuthan, succeeding Narayan Aryal who has been reassigned to a new position.

In other notable changes, Leela Prasad Sharma has been appointed as the CDO of Sindhuli, and Baburam Aryal will now serve as the CDO of Arghakhachi. These moves are part of a broader strategy to bolster administrative effectiveness across districts.

In addition to these district-level appointments, Jitendra Basnet and Dr. Tokaraj Pandey have been assigned new roles within the Ministry of Home Affairs. These updates reflect the government’s commitment to optimizing governance and ensuring smooth administration at both district and ministry levels.
