Kathmandu: Senior artist Haribansha Acharya has drawn the attention of Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Devendra Dahal, to key development issues in his ancestral region, Kavre district. During a meeting held on Wednesday at the ministry, Acharya requested the allocation of necessary funds for the construction of the Panauti-Namobuddha-Dapcha Road and the Mira Trust Road section along the Panauti-Namobuddha route.
Acharya highlighted the significance of these infrastructure projects and urged the minister to ensure their timely completion. He also expressed concern over the frequent changes in government and political instability in Nepal, which he said have left citizens disappointed and disillusioned.
In response, Minister Dahal assured that he has prioritized resource management for essential projects. He further emphasized that the current government, formed by the two major political parties, is strong and stable, providing an opportunity to address public needs and deliver sustainable development. The discussion also touched on how to make government initiatives more people-centric and effective.
