Kathmandu: Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Pandey, announced that night flights have been arranged from Ghatasthapana to Purnima (Full Moon) to ease air travel during the festive season.
Minister Pandey stated that the night flight arrangements were made to provide convenience in ticket availability and reduce airfare costs. He added that these night flights aim to address the increased air traffic caused by floods, landslides, and festivals. The night flight operations will be available at Tribhuvan International Airport, Gautam Buddha Airport, and Pokhara Airport, among others, from Ghatasthapana until Purnima.
Minister Pandey further mentioned that flights would be operated as required from 4:30 AM to late-night hours at all airports facilitating night operations.
