Kathmandu: Everest Bank Limited celebrated its 30th anniversary with grandeur, organizing various events. The main program was held at the bank’s headquarters in Lazimpat, where a blood donation camp was organized, and employees who have served the bank for a long time were awarded long-service medals and appreciation certificates.
On the occasion, the bank announced several programs under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Continuing its efforts in education, healthcare, disaster relief, environmental protection, and cultural promotion, the bank provided NPR 10 million to Kathmandu Institute of Child Health Hospital for its building construction.
The check was jointly handed over by Chairman Bal Gopal Baidya and CEO Sudesh Khaling to the hospital’s chairman, Prof. Dr. Bhagwan Koirala. The bank expressed confidence that this contribution would further assist in the hospital’s construction and help ensure quality and accessible healthcare services for children.
As part of its CSR efforts, the bank also organized a blood donation drive in collaboration with the Nepal Red Cross Society, Bagbazar. A total of 48 employees from the bank participated in the blood donation.
