Kathmandu: Sitaram Neupane has been re-elected as the President of the Federation of Crusher and Mining Industries Entrepreneurs of Nepal during the federation’s 10th and 11th Annual General Assembly and Third Convention. The event, held in Bardibas, saw the unanimous selection of a 21-member executive committee for the next three years under Neupane’s leadership.
Chandramani Adhikari has been elected as the Senior Vice President, with Rohit Bahadur Karki representing Koshi Province, Ram Narayan Prasad Yadav representing Madhesh Province, Devaraj Luitel from Bagmati Province, Liladhar Baral from Gandaki Province, and Min Bahadur Shahi from Lumbini Province serving as Vice Presidents.
Devaraj Tamang has been appointed as the General Secretary. President Neupane noted that the position of Secretary remains vacant due to no candidates applying for the role. Additionally, Buddhi Prasad Acharya was elected as Deputy Secretary, Bechan Thakur Barahi as Treasurer, and Binod Raj Shrestha as Assistant Treasurer, all without opposition.
The newly elected members include Humnath Paudel, Kumar Giri, Til Prasad Pathak, Anod Kumar Devkota, Bikas Narayan Shrestha, Rajkumar Rawal, Raju Regmi, Shashi Kumar Yadav, and Santosh Yadav.
Following his re-election, Neupane expressed his commitment to addressing the issues facing the crusher industry. He highlighted that over the past three years, the federation had actively informed relevant government bodies of the sector’s challenges and pledged to work diligently over the next three years to find effective solutions.
