Released just hours ago, the song “Nepal Haseko…” quickly gained traction, reflecting Shah’s vision of a developed Nepal while portraying the country’s current reality. The track features Balen’s lyrics, composition, vocals, and rap, with additional choral contributions from Sara Khadgi, Manushi Poudel, Krisha Khadka, and others.

This marks the first song released by Balen Shah since assuming office as mayor. The film’s production team has labeled the track as a promotional song, further amplifying anticipation for the movie.

Just days before this release, Laaj Sharanam had unveiled another song, “Herda Herdai Ma…”. The film, produced by the team behind the popular comedy series Sakkigoni, features Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) in the lead role, with Kumar Kattel as the director.

The cast includes Arjun Ghimire, Sagar Lamsal, Harish Niraula, Priyana Acharya, Vijay Baral, Mahesh Tripathi, Arpan Thapa, Renu Yogi, Vijay Lama, Mukunda Shrestha, and Mala Limbu. Produced under the JPT Creation banner, the film lists Naveen Shrestha as the producer, with Ram Naresh Shah and Srijana Khadka as co-producers.

Scheduled for release on Falgun 14 (Maha Shivaratri), Laaj Sharanam is already one of the most anticipated Nepali films of the year.
