Interpol-Wanted Fraud Suspect, Sufal Raj Kunwar, Apprehended in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: Sufal Raj Kunwar, a resident of Tarakeshwar Municipality-1 in Kathmandu, who had been on the run since Interpol issued a diffusion notice in a fraud case, has been arrested. He was successfully brought back to Nepal on Saturday for legal proceedings related to the case.

The absconding defendant, Kunwar, was located in Macau, where he and accomplices deceived victims by promising lucrative job opportunities. A diffusion notice, issued by the Interpol General Secretariat on September 11, 2018, triggered an international manhunt for Kunwar. Law enforcement authorities are now actively engaged in conducting necessary investigations into the case.
