Kathmandu: In response to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies’ call for applications for the Executive Director position at Nepal Oil Corporation, a total of 14 candidates have submitted their applications as of the deadline on Sunday.

Among the applicants are Pankaj Kumar Das, Madhav Regmi, and Amod Prasad Chaudhary from Morang, while Dilip Sekhar Shrestha, Uttarakumar Regmi, and Sahadev Chanda represent Kathmandu. Other contenders include Chandikaprasad Bhatt from Gorakha, Vasantkumar Pandey from Dang, Dolindra Prasad Sharma from Baglung, Shatru Prasad Pudasaini from Lalitpur, Kamalendra Lal Karn from Mahottari, Dr. Dolaprasad Chapagain from Chitwan, Ramdev Yadav from Dhanusha, and Sanjeev Kumar Shrestha from Saptari.

The Ministry’s Selection Committee, headed by the Secretary, will meticulously review the applications and shortlist candidates for interviews. After the interview process and presentation of business plans, the committee will recommend three candidates to the Cabinet for the final appointment to the prestigious Executive Director position.
