Prime Minister Dahal Claimed Confiscation of Government Land Equivalent to Eight Billion

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal, commonly known as “Prachanda,” revealed that the government has successfully reclaimed government land valued at eight billion rupees in the Lalita Nivas case. This announcement came after the completion of the investigation and the submission of the case files to the court, as stated by the Prime Minister during a meeting with the central representatives of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party on Wednesday.

Expressing gratitude for the government’s commendable actions, Prime Minister Dahal conveyed his appreciation for the positive work undertaken and encouraged continuous efforts to improve. He emphasized the rights granted by the constitution for citizens and political parties to peacefully voice their demands, stating that democracy allows citizens to express their concerns freely.

Regarding recent significant cases, such as the Bhutanese refugee issue, Lalita Nivas, and the Sun Kanda case, Prime Minister Dahal acknowledged the government’s decisive steps, attributing the current favorable outcome to the government’s serious approach. He thanked all political parties for supporting the government in its efforts to address these matters.

Prime Minister Dahal stated, “The government’s firm actions in the Bhutanese refugee issue, Lalita Nivas case, and Sun Kanda case have led to the current positive outcome. The government’s decision to arrest and initiate the investigation process has now resulted in a favorable verdict by the court. Lalita Nivas’ land, valued at eight billion rupees, has been successfully reclaimed in the name of the government.”

In response to the struggles faced by Rapa leaders in acquiring justice, the Prime Minister reassured, “I have no qualms about the decisions made regarding the issues Rapa leaders have taken up. Your struggles should be peaceful; we are committed to advancing the peace process. Please cooperate positively. Support and assistance are extended to the government’s commendable work.”
