Kathmandu: The cast lineup for director Diwakar Bhattarai’s upcoming film ‘Narsingha: Avatar’ is shaping up to be quite intriguing. The production team has finalized three main characters so far, with the addition of Deepa Shahi and Saroj Khanal to the cast. This film is set to be an action and social drama, with Deepa and Saroj playing lead roles.

Although the production team and the actors have signed written agreements, details about their specific roles in the film have not been disclosed.

Notably, this film marks the return of legendary actor Rajesh Hamal after an eight-year hiatus. The news of Hamal’s comeback has already stirred excitement in the Nepali film industry. The film is expected to be special for both the audience and Hamal himself, making ‘Narsingha: Avatar’ one of the most anticipated films.

Saroj Khanal, who previously worked with Diwakar Bhattarai on the film ‘Captain,’ is set to join this new project as well. Alongside Rajesh Hamal, models Niti Shah and Sanisha Bhattarai have also been cast in the film. This will be Sanisha’s second film, with her debut film ‘12 Gaun Phoolpati’ soon to be released.

‘Narsingha: Avatar’ is presented by Creative Cine Art, and filming is scheduled to begin this August. The film’s budget is expected to exceed 30 million rupees. Meanwhile, director Bhattarai’s other film, ‘Mayavi,’ is in the final stages of preparation for release.
