Kathmandu: On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the production of the upcoming film ‘Hunter’ has been officially announced. The production team has kept details about the cast and crew under wraps, revealing only the title of the film on Monday.
Directed by Jivan Singh, ‘Hunter’ will be his debut film. The lead role will be played by Arun Chettri, who has previously starred in films like ‘Mahapurush,’ ‘Prema,’ and ‘Jackie I Am 21.’ The rest of the cast will be revealed in the coming days, according to the production team.
Presented by Catch Cook Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film is said to narrate a story set in the Far-Western region of Nepal. Director Singh described the film as an action entertainer, inspired by real-life characters. “While the story is based on real characters, we will be taking cinematic liberties to make it more engaging and enjoyable,” he said, noting that fiction will be blended with reality to enhance the film’s appeal.
The film will also involve collaboration with Peak Education Network and Trident Concept. Pre-production work is currently underway, with shooting scheduled to take place in Western Nepal.
