Kathmandu: The Nepal Securities Board has announced the shortlisted candidates for its Chairperson position. Krishna Bahadur Karki, Chiranjivi Chapagain, and Dr. Navaraj Adhikari have been selected to present their business plans and attend interviews on October 4, 2024, at the Ministry of Finance, Singha Durbar. This marks a key step in the selection process to appoint the new Chairperson for the board.
As per the decision made by the Recommendation Committee on September 25, 2024 (2081/06/09), the candidates are required to attend the presentation and interview at 8:00 AM at the Ministry of Finance. This step is part of the final selection process to appoint the Chairperson of the Nepal Securities Board.
The Recommendation Committee, responsible for nominating a candidate for this prestigious position, aims to ensure a competent leader for the regulatory body overseeing Nepal’s capital markets. The new Chairperson will be tasked with guiding the development and regulation of the securities market in the country.
