Kathmandu: Himalayan Everest Insurance (HEI) Limited has announced the appointment of Anju Shrestha as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant milestone as she becomes only the second female CEO in the history of Nepal’s non-life insurance industry. Shrestha will officially assume her new role on October 4, 2024.

With a career spanning nearly three decades, Shrestha began her journey in the insurance sector on February 28, 1996, as an Assistant Officer. Over the years, she has built a reputation for her dedication, strategic acumen, and leadership. Her promotion to CEO is seen as a testament to her outstanding contributions to the field and her commitment to fostering innovation and customer-centric solutions.
