Kathmandu: U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Chief Mike Harker and Cultural Affairs Officer Erika Alexander joined the Dashain bhetghat program, organized by the U.S. Embassy Youth Council Nepal. The event offered the American diplomats a chance to experience their first Dashain festival in Nepal.

Dressed in traditional attire and enjoying a variety of favorite Dashain dishes, the Youth Council members provided Mike and Erika with a warm introduction to the vibrant local traditions.
