Crest Micro Life Insurance Opens IPO for Nepalese Workers Abroad

Kathmandu: Crest Micro Life Insurance has opened its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for subscription starting January 28. The company has issued the IPO specifically for Nepalese workers currently employed abroad.

The company plans to issue 30% of its total capital of NPR 750 million, amounting to NPR 225 million or 2.25 million shares. In the first phase, 10% of this total—225,000 shares worth NPR 22.5 million—has been allocated for Nepalese who have obtained labor permits and are working overseas.

Investors can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 10,000 shares in the IPO. The application deadline for overseas Nepali workers is February 12, 2025.

The IPO issuance and sale are being managed by NIBL Ace Capital. Investors can apply for the IPO through SEBON-approved C-ASBA member banks and financial institutions or via the “Mero Share” platform operated by CDS and Clearing Limited.

ICRA Nepal has assigned a rating of [ICRANP-IR] BB to the company, indicating moderate risk in fulfilling financial obligations.
