Kathmandu: The selection committee responsible for recommending the Chairperson of the Nepal Insurance Authority has shortlisted five candidates for the position. The decision was made in the committee’s meeting on 2081 Magh 4 (January 17, 2025).

The shortlisted candidates are:

Kamal Prasad Regmi
Chiranjivi Chapagain
Damodar Basoula
Ramsharan Pudasaini
Sharad Ojha

These candidates have been invited to present their business plans and attend an interview on 2081 Falgun 10 (February 22, 2025), at 2:00 PM at the Ministry of Finance, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu.

The selection committee will forward its final recommendations to the Government of Nepal, which will make the official appointment.
