Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, who had been undergoing treatment for the past two days, is set to be discharged from the hospital today. According to the hospital’s latest update, his health condition has improved significantly, with burn injuries healing and no signs of lung complications.

Meanwhile, Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya, who was also receiving treatment, is showing progress. However, due to his pre-existing high blood pressure condition, he remains under the supervision of a cardiology specialist for further medical attention. His treatment will continue for a few more days.

To minimize infection risks, Mayor Acharya’s visits have been temporarily restricted.

Hospital officials have assured that both leaders are recovering well, with Minister Poudel now fit for discharge.
