Kathmandu: A meeting was held between the Youth and Sports Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, and ICC President Greg Barclay at Singhadarbar.
During the meeting, special discussions were held on the development and progress of cricket in Nepal. Recognizing the growing popularity of cricket in Nepal and its significance on the international stage, ICC President Greg Barclay expressed enthusiasm and commitment to support Nepal’s efforts in cricket development. He emphasized the importance of recognizing Nepal’s cricket development initiatives and pledged ICC’s support.
Minister Shrestha welcomed ICC’s support and reiterated the Ministry’s dedication to promoting cricket as a means of youth empowerment and national pride. He highlighted the Ministry’s readiness to collaborate closely with ICC for the advancement of cricket in Nepal.
