NEPSE Index Sees Significant Growth, Surges by 34.29 Points

Kathmandu:  The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index witnessed a substantial rise today, August 14, 2024, closing at 2,957.75 points, marking an increase of 34.29 points or 1.17%.

The total turnover for the day reached an impressive Rs. 23.43 billion, with 51.23 million shares being traded.

Several companies saw notable gains, with a 10% increase in their share prices. Leading the charge were:

CFCL: Closing at Rs. 743.60, up by Rs. 67.60.
SFCL: Also closing at Rs. 743.60, up by Rs. 67.60.
PROFL: Closed at Rs. 801.90, up by Rs. 72.90.
MATRI: Reached Rs. 1,546.80, an increase of Rs. 140.60.
HIDCL: Closed at Rs. 331.10, up by Rs. 30.10.
MHNL: Closing at Rs. 358.60, up by Rs. 32.60.
HHL: Closed at Rs. 509.30, up by Rs. 46.30.
IHL: Closed at Rs. 625.90, up by Rs. 56.90.
USHL: Closed at Rs. 727.10, up by Rs. 66.10.
This surge indicates strong market performance, with investors showing confidence across various sectors.
