Kathmandu: The movie Jwai Saab, directed by Basanta Niraula, has been gaining significant attention recently. The first look and teaser, which were recently released, have already generated immense curiosity among the audience.

Following the release of the film’s first song, Kasam Battiko, sung by popular singers Nishan Bhattarai and Samikshya Adhikari, the film’s buzz has grown even stronger.

Director Basanta Niraula noted that the song, released ahead of the film’s launch on October 10, during the Phulpati festival, has elevated the film’s anticipation.

“The poster and teaser created a lot of hype, but after the release of Kasam Battiko, the buzz has increased even more. There’s even growing demand for the film from overseas markets,” Niraula said. He added that the production team is planning a simultaneous release of the movie in both Nepal and abroad.

The film’s plot is described as fresh and engaging, and the makers are confident that Jwai Saab will add excitement to this year’s Dashain festival. Director Niraula emphasized that the movie will offer a unique experience to viewers.

Produced by Red Eye Films in collaboration with Mausam Films, Jwai Saab stars Jitu Nepal and Niti Shah in the lead roles, alongside an ensemble cast including Buddhi Tamang, Himesh Panta, Ramesh Budhathoki, Nima Pandey, Shishir Wangdel, Kavita Ale, Deepak Acharya, Rajkumar Pandit, Kamalmani Nepal, and Prakash Ghimire.

The executive producer of the film is Bijay Basyal, with Minadevi Khadka, Saugat Pandit, and Padamlal Tamang as investors. Music for the film is composed by Arjun Pokharel and Mahesh Tamrakar, with action directed by Sanjay Thapa and cinematography by Shyam Tamang. The editing is done by Sandesh Shah.
