The announcement was made during a press conference held on Monday at Hotel Hilton, Naxal, where fans and media gathered to witness this significant moment.

Renowned for his illustrious career spanning decades in the Nepali film industry, Rajesh Hamal, often hailed as the ‘Mahanayak’ (Superstar) of Nepali cinema, is celebrated for his impactful performances, iconic dialogue delivery, and charismatic persona. With this new role, Hamal is poised to bring his influential presence to the world of sports, adding motivation and a touch of stardom to the Lumbini Lions franchise.

Expressing his excitement, Hamal said, “I am really happy and proud to be associated with Lumbini Lions.
