NEPSE Index Closes with Gains Amidst High Turnover

Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a slight increase, closing at 2,753.76 points, up by 4.98 points or 0.18%. The market demonstrated mixed activity with 145 stocks advancing, 92 declining, and 6 remaining unchanged.

Top Gainers of the Day:

USLB (Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd) led the top gainers with a 10% increase, reaching a last trading price (LTP) of Rs. 1,774.30.
SMFBS (Samudayik Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd) also rose by 10%, with an LTP of Rs. 2,044.90.
UHEWA (Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Ltd) saw a 9.99% gain, closing at Rs. 644.90.
MANDU (Mandu Hydropower Limited) increased by 9.71%, reaching Rs. 1,028.00.
