Agricultural Exhibition Organized by Connect Kisan Concludes with Transactions Worth Rs. 100 Million

Bara: The agricultural exhibition organized by Connect Kisan on the occasion of the Gadhimai Fair in Bariyarpur, Bara, concluded successfully on Monday. Held from December 2 to 8, the exhibition attracted nearly 100,000 visitors and facilitated direct and booking transactions worth Rs. 100 million, according to the organizers.

The chairperson of Connect Kisan, Sanjita Lamichhane, stated that the event provided local farmers and entrepreneurs an opportunity to explore new prospects and technologies in agriculture.

Over 100 Stalls Showcasing Diverse Products
The exhibition featured more than 100 stalls with the participation of various government bodies and private sectors. Key displays included indigenous crops, agricultural tools, nurseries, fish farming, tractors, and other modern technologies. The event also showcased culinary specialties from all seven provinces, adding to its appeal.

Inauguration and Closing Ceremony
The exhibition was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakash Man Singh, while it was officially closed by Mayor Upendra Yadav of Jamaha Gadhimai Municipality.

During the closing ceremony, Mayor Yadav praised Connect Kisan for organizing such a unique exhibition at the Gadhimai Fair. He remarked, “This exhibition has not only introduced farmers to new knowledge and technologies but has also significantly contributed to promoting local products.”

Unique Experiences and Promotion of Technology
Key attractions of the exhibition included interactive sessions with agricultural and livestock experts and engagements with robotics technology, providing a unique experience for visitors.

According to the organizers, the event played a crucial role in promoting modern technologies in agriculture, expanding markets for local products, and fostering a sense of self-reliance among farmers.

The exhibition has been hailed as a significant initiative in encouraging agricultural innovation and entrepreneurship. Connect Kisan expressed its commitment to continuing such events to support the agricultural community in the future.
