Kathmandu: An earthquake tremor was felt in Kathmandu at 1:02 PM today. According to the National Seismological and Research Center, the tremor, measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale, had its epicenter in Majhitar, Sindhupalchok.
Center spokesperson Monika Jha stated that the tremor was an aftershock of the devastating 2015 Gorkha earthquake.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received. Authorities have urged residents to remain cautious and informed about potential aftershocks.
