RBBL Conducts Pre-Service Training for 89 Newly Appointed Employees

Kathmandu: Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBBL) has commenced a 14-day pre-service training program for 89 newly appointed employees, including 83 Senior Assistants (Administration, Cash, and IT Services) and six Officers. The candidates were selected through written examinations and interviews conducted by the Public Service Commission on a provincial basis.

Inaugurating the training, Chief Executive Officer Devendra Raman Khanal emphasized the importance of translating theoretical knowledge into practical skills to deliver efficient and quality service to customers. He urged the newly appointed employees to dedicate themselves fully to enhancing the bank’s productivity and highlighted that disciplined and diligent employees are likely to excel in their careers.

Deputy Chief Executive Officers Saraswati Adhikari and Devesh Prasad Lohani briefed the participants on their responsibilities and duties in the workplace. Similarly, Chief of the Human Resource Department, Bhim Prasad Ghimire, administered the oath to the new Senior Assistants in accordance with the bank’s Employee Service Regulations.

The program was hosted by Hari Babu Acharya, Deputy Chief of the Human Resource Department, and attended by Deputy Executive Officers Pawan Regmi, Binaya Raman Paudel, and Durga Kumari Kandel, along with other department heads and staff members.

Rastriya Banijya Bank currently operates 294 branch offices, 72 extension counters, 312 ATMs, and 99 branchless banking units across all 77 districts of Nepal, ensuring access to financial services nationwide.
