Filming of ‘Karma’ Completed, Set for Global Release on March 29

Kathmandu: The filming of ‘Karma’, directed by Saurabh Chaudhary, known for his work in ‘Agastya’, has been successfully completed.

The shooting, which began in the last week of Mangsir (mid-December), took place in various locations around Dang for approximately 46 days, followed by 12 days of filming in Kathmandu.

The movie is set to release on March 29, coinciding with the Nepali New Year, and will have a simultaneous global release. Seven Seas Cinema has secured the overseas distribution rights for the film.

The first look poster of Karma was unveiled on Falgun 1 (mid-February), featuring lead actor Bipin Karki. The posters have sparked excitement among audiences, with Seven Seas Cinema reporting significant interest from the international market.

‘Karma’ is an action drama and marks Bipin Karki’s first action film, adding to the curiosity among fans. The movie also stars Upasana Singh Thakuri, Mukunda Bhusal, and Divya Dev, among others.

Mukunda Bhusal plays a negative role in the film. The story, written by director Saurabh Chaudhary himself, promises an intense cinematic experience.

Produced under the banner of Artistic Entertainment, the film is backed by Basanta Lamsal.

Director Chaudhary’s previous film, ‘Agastya: Chapter 1’, received positive reviews from both audiences and critics, raising expectations for Karma.
