Kathmandu: The Ministry of Finance has issued a notice regarding the selection process for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). A selection committee has shortlisted candidates who are required to present their business plans and participate in an interview.
According to the notice, the shortlisted candidates must present their strategic proposals for managing and improving NEPSE’s operations. The final selection process will take place on March 19, 2025 (2079/12/06 B.S.) at 10:00 AM at the Ministry of Finance.
The five shortlisted candidates are:
- Subash Chandra Sharma
- Navaraj Bhattarai
- Purna Bahadur Basnet
- Laxmi Prasad Paudyal
- Megha Raj Kandel
The Ministry has urged all candidates to attend the session on time with the required documents. The selection process aims to appoint a competent leader to enhance Nepal’s capital market.
